104-year-old World War II veteran Frank Anderson was invited to throw the first pitch before the Redbirds 4th of July game.

The Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, found the perfect way to celebrate America's birthday, Wednesday. 

Before the 4th of July game against the Omaha Storm Chasers, 104-year-old World War II veteran Frank Anderson threw out the ceremonial first pitch. 

Location of the pitch aside, it was one of the best moments in all of baseball, Wednesday. The Redbirds even shared some photos of him from his service time:
