U.S.-based ConAgra Brands Inc. is recalling over 65 tons of salisbury steaks over reports of "foreign matter contamination."

The recall applies to 27 oz. packages of Banquet Family-Size 6 Salisbury Steaks & Brown Gravy with a 'best buy' date of Sep 01 2019.  The company says small pieces of bone and other materials have turned up in the product, causing at least three reports of "minor oral injury" to people eating it.

Anyone who bought the product should throw it away or return it to the store where they purchased it.

The recall posted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) included three reports of minor oral injury associated with consumption of this product.
