ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis police had a busy night -- eight people were shot in three separate incidents.
Two were shot in the 2300 block on South Jefferson.

Less than two hours later, five were shot after a brawl broke out inside the Mood Lounge at 20th and Locust.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports rapper Ronald Walls says the club was hosting an open-mic rap battle, when a rapper enraged a group in the audience and a fight broke out.

Some of people reportedly left the club and went to their cars and got guns.

The club had a triple shooting just last month.

On the McDonald's parking lot at Tucker and Carr, several people were shot at, but not hit.
And shortly after 2 a.m., a man was shot on Wren. He's in critical condition.
