No disrespect to the St. Louis Blues, but people "eat, sleep, drink, breath baseball in that town."

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Although Opening Day in St. Louis happened in April, there's a major homecoming on the way in St. Louis. Adam Wainwright will return to the mound at Busch Stadium on Monday, Sept. 10 to start against the Pittsburgh Pirates – it will be his first time back in the majors since April.

As the oldest and second most tenured current player in St. Louis (Yadi has him beat by two years), Wainwright knows as well as anyone what baseball means to this city. For this week's episode of the Ameren Illinois Inside Pitch, former Cards pitcher Kyle McClellan asked Waino to describe what it's like to pitch for the B.F.I.B.
