Ameren Missouri Pledges Help to Beat the St. Louis Heat

August 30, 2018 - 7:00 am

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Ameren-Missouri is promising help for those struggling to beat this summer's heat.

The utility service provider called an afternoon news conference in St. Louis to announce a multi-million-dollar pledge to support immediate energy assistance needs and long-term efficiency.

We know there will be a "weatherization" demonstration as part of the event.

Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe is scheduled to be there, as well as Ameren-Missouri's president. They'll be joined by representatives from Cool Down Saint Louis and the United Way.
