ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - This week, we expect to learn who'll be the musical entertainment for Fair Saint Louis' big return to the Arch grounds.  It's been five years since the annual Fourth of July celebration moved to Forest Park to make way for renovations on the riverfront.

But Gateway Arch Park Foundation executive director Eric Moraczewski says to expect events at the Arch all summer, not just on the holiday weekend.

“We would hate for the people of St. Louis to pay for all of this just so that tourists could enjoy, it so that’s why a lot of our events, our activities, are really about giving the regional reason to come back down and fall back in love with the Arch and grounds around it,” he says.

And he says those events will span from the river up to Kiener Plaza, taking advantage of the new 'park over the highway', which means a straightforward walking experience all the way from downtown to the Arch.

Moraczewski says they're using the hashtag “#your arch" to get people to share their old photos from the national monument.

“It’s so much fun. We see people posting from the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, you get all these different outfits in there,” he says.

One new addition thanks to the renovations -- free, open-access Wi-Fi on the Arch grounds.
