Blues Move Up To Draft Pick No. 25, Select Dominik Bokk

The Blues acquired the 25th pick in the draft from Toronto in exchange for picks No. 29 and No. 76.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Blues select Dominik Bokk with the 25th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.

The Blues acquired the 25th pick in the draft from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for picks No. 29 and No. 76.

Bokk said "It's a dream come true. It's great for any player to get picked in the NHL Draft."

According to the Blues, Bokk is a 6-foot-1, 176-pound right winger who scored 14 goals and 27 assists (41 points) in 35 games last season for Vaxjo Jr. of the Swedish Hockey League.

Bokk may be one of the many St. Louis Blues prospects who will be on display in next week's Prospect Camp at Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall. The camp is free and open to the public, from June 26-29.

Among the prospects attending this summer’s camp will be 2018 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Champion and Playoffs MVP, forward Robert Thomas (20th ovr, 2017), 2018 OHL Most Outstanding Player, forward Jordan Kyrou (35th ovr, 2016), and 2018 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Memorial Cup Champion,  goaltender Evan Fitzpatrick (59th ovr, 2016).  Also in attendance will be forward Erik Foley, who was acquired by the Blues via trade from the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 26, 2017, and defenseman Mitch Reinke, who was signed by the Blues as a free agent out of Michigan Tech on Mar. 25, 2017.
