Blues Top Prospects On Display This Month

Fans are welcome to watch the Prospect Camp at Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall, June 26-29.

ST. LOUIS (BLUES) – The St. Louis Blues announced today that 2018 Prospect Camp will begin on Tuesday, June 26, at Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall.  Camp will run from Tuesday until Friday, June 29, and all on-ice sessions are free and open to the public.  Media availability for all prospects will be held each day from approximately noon to 12:30 p.m. in the main dressing room. 

Among the prospects attending this summer’s camp will be 2018 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Champion and Playoffs MVP, forward Robert Thomas (20th ovr, 2017), 2018 OHL Most Outstanding Player, forward Jordan Kyrou (35th ovr, 2016), and 2018 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Memorial Cup Champion,  goaltender Evan Fitzpatrick (59th ovr, 2016).  Also in attendance will be forward Erik Foley, who was acquired by the Blues via trade from the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 26, 2017, and defenseman Mitch Reinke, who was signed by the Blues as a free agent out of Michigan Tech on Mar. 25, 2017.  Additionally, the Blues anticipate many of their 2018 draft picks to attend camp, including their first-round selection.  A preliminary roster and on-ice schedule can be found below, while the full roster of players will be released following the 2018 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft on June 22 and 23, at American Airlines Center, in Dallas.

Camp will consist of off-ice workouts, on-ice skills sessions, and scrimmages each day.  On-ice skills sessions will begin at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, while the players will undergo on-ice testing beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday.  Four-on-four and three-on-three scrimmages will start at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, while Thursday’s scrimmages will begin at 3 p.m.  In addition, goaltenders will take the ice for individual skill work starting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
