Police search McKinley Leadership Academy after reported bomb threat

Officers and K9s searched the building, but found nothing

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — A bomb threat was called into a South City school this morning.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Michelle Woodling tells KMOX News the threat was made at about 10 a.m. Monday at McKinley Classical Leadership Academy, located in the 2100 block of Russell Avenue.

All students were evacuated safely. Officers and their K9s searched the building, but nothing was found and the area was deemed safe.

The investigation into the source of the bomb threat continues.
