Schenn returns to Blues lineup, Del Zotto gets debut vs old team

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General ManagerDoug Armstrong announced today the Blues have activated forward Brayden Schenn from injured reserve and will be in the lineup tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.  Schenn has missed the past six games due to an upper-body injury.

Schenn, 27, has dressed in 55 games with the Blues this season, collecting 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists) and 30 penalty minutes.  The 6’1, 200-pound forward is currently in his second season with the Blues after being acquired via trade from the Philadelphia Flyers on June 23, 2017.  Overall, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native has accumulated 357 points (148 goals, 209 assists) in 570 career National Hockey League (NHL) regular-season games.

The Blues also announced new defenseman Michael Del Zotto will get his first game action in a Blues sweater tonight. He'll debut after being acquired in a trade with the Ducks for a sixth-round draft pick.

Del Zotto is a former first-round pick of the New York Rangers in 2008, started with the season with the Vancouver Canucks but most recently played with the Anaheim Ducks. He has posted one goal and six assists in 35 games this season.
