Brenda Warner is back in St. Louis to help with the 18th annual Warner's Warm-Up coat drive.

The yearly tradition started when Kurt Warner was leading the "Greatest Show on Turf" with the St. Louis Rams.

"When we moved away and I thought of all those people, especially children that wouldn't get a coat, I just thought 'not gonna happen'," Brenda Warner told KMOX's Carol Daniel. "So as long as St. Louis helps us out, we'll keep doing it."

Once again, Operation Food Search is teaming up with the Warners, and Brenda Warner will be helping sort coats at Operation Food Search this morning. She couldn't be more grateful for their help.

"They have that network of people who need (coats)," Warner explained. "They have the contacts in the schools, in the groups of veterans and the homeless, and even just everyday people who have hit a hard time."

In addition to accepting new or gently used coats, Brenda and Kurt Warner's First Things First Foundation chipped in a donation of $15,000-worth of brand new coats in all sizes for adults and children.

The coat drive began November 1st and continues until November 14th. There are 250 sites across the area that are accepting new and gently used coats for children and adults, and you can find the location nearest to you on Kurt Warner's website.

If you can't donate a coat, you can also make a $15 donation and the organization will buy a coat.
