ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The suspects allegedly involved in a series of car break-ins in downtown St. Louis are back in custody... again.

Jason Holmes and Lamonte Brown are allegedly responsible for hundreds of car break-ins in downtown and midtown St. Louis. They were released from jail when their bond was reduced, then re-arrested, and ordered to stay out of those neighborhoods -- they were fitted with ankle bracelets.

However, they disabled those and got away again.  St. Louis police say the two men were arrested again on New Sun Court in Florissant around noon yesterday.

Holmes and Brown face nearly 30 new charges and bond for each of them has been set at $250,000.
