Cards Make Disabled List Moves

Dexter Fowler injured, Kolten Wong ready

PITTSBURGH (KMOX) - The Cardinals made a disabled list swap, Saturday, ahead of a night game in Pittsburgh against the Pirates. 

The team announced it placed outfielder Dexter Fowler on the 10-day DL with a broken foot suffered in Friday night's game.

The Cards activated infielder Kolten Wong from the DL. He missed 12 games with knee inflammation.

Wong is batting .216 with seven home runs and 24 RBI in 91 games this season and ranks among National League leaders with his 13 hit by pitches.

Fowler is batting .180 (52-289) with eight home runs and 31 RBI in 90 games.
