ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - In an exclusive one-on-one interview with Sen. Claire McCaskill Friday morning, the Missouri Democrat told KMOX News she's not proud of the way the Senate Judiciary Committee is handling Supreme Court candidate Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation process.

"I think it is unfortunate that we're not willing to reopen the FBI investigation," McCaskill says. "I think there are opportunities for corroboration that are being ignored."

McCaskill said she disputes the claims that Kavanaugh's accuser is merely a pawn of the Democratic Party and also doesn't think California Sen. Dianne Feinstein is capable of leading a conspiracy.

McCaskill said she still intends to vote "no" on Kavanaugh based on his "dark money" campaign opinions.

She disagrees with those who say she would vote against any of President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominees.
