COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - A follow-up to a story KMOX reported last week.

The Collinsville school superintendent has pulled the plug on a community dance due to an anonymous threat.

The annual May Dance at Collinsville High School was scheduled for Saturday. The event raises money for a youth center in town.

In a statement to district families, Superintendent Dr. Robert Green says Collinsville Police are still investigating the letter he received in late April, threatening harm to people attending the dance.
