ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Missouri Congressman Lacy Clay is hoping for a big turnout at Wednesday night's gun violence "town hall" at Better Family Life on Page in St. Louis.

“We will hear testimony from victims of gun violence, ex-offenders who have committed gun violence, and the leadership of the clergy coalition as well,” he says.

Called "Common Crisis-Common Ground" Clay says police and public safety officials will also speak. He is hopeful it'll draw folks from all walks of life to "brainstorm" on ways to stop the violent crime problem in Saint Louis.

It begins at 7pm Wednesday.
