The city of Boston will be effectively shut down on Wednesday, as the Red Sox hold their World Series parade starting at Fenway Park this morning.

In Los Angeles, it will be business as usual after the Dodgers lost the 2018 World Series in five games to Boston.

But the Dodgers pulled a very classy move by taking out a full page add in the Boston Globe to say congrats to the champions.

The add reads:

"The Los Angeles Dodgers congratulate the Boston Red Sox on winning the 2018 World Series Championship"

Here's what it looked like in the Globe, Wednesday:

Congratulating the opposing team after a championship isn't new, we saw it in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 2013 after the Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.

The ad thanked the city and fans of St. Louis for a "warm welcome."
