EUREKA, Mo. (KMOX) - (UPDATED 8/3 4:35 p.m.) Police have arrested a man a day after he allegedly ran away from a traffic stop, leaving behind a van with 15 people inside.

The driver was arrested as he walked along Highway 109 near Eureka.

Previous reporting:

The Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, is now investigating a group of 14 people pulled over in Eureka earlier this morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol stopped a mini van on Interstate 44 near Six Flags, and the driver and a passenger immediately ran. Police captured the passenger, but the driver is still at large. Thirteen others were taken into custody.

Police think they're undocumented because none of them had ID nor spoke English.
An ICE spokeswoman says she can't release any more details because it's an ongoing Homeland Security investigation.
