ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There's no stopping Rodney Smith Jr.

The Huntsville, Alabama man recently completed 50 lawns in 50 states, and all of them were for a special cause -- he runs Raising Men Lawn Care.

"What we do is hold free lawn mowing for the disabled, elderly, veterans, or single mothers," Smith told KMOX's Total Information AM on Monday morning. "We also include kids ages 7 to 17 that are interested in giving back to their community with a lawnmower."

Kids can take the 50 Lawns Challenge, where they get free goodies for every 10 lawns mowed, including a lawnmower, weedeater, and trimmer after the 50th mow. Smith himself delivers those items to the kids.

Smith arrived in St. Louis on Sunday night, and he's making the rounds Monday in St. Louis thanks to a generous sponsor.

He also took a moment to sample one of St. Louis' finest creations: Toasted ravioli.

Once he polished that off, he went right to work Monday morning.

Smith will continue his journey next year, when he vows to mow 7 lawns in 7 continents.

In addition to the social media accounts above, you can find more information at the Raising Men Lawn Care website.
