Felony Lane Gang Strike in St. Louis County

August 08, 2018 - 8:05 am

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A travelling band of criminals that mainly targets women's vehicles parked at fitness centers and day cares has struck in the St. Louis area again.

They're called the Felony Lane Gang and St. Louis County Police Officer Benjamin Granda says they come to town, steal credit cards, checkbooks and other personal documents and move on.

"They use whatever they can get from those break-ins at financial institutions as quickly as they can, and after that they are hitting the highways and they’re back out of town with whatever spoils they’ve been able to gather," he says.

Granda says they target higher income areas and places like parks, churches, daycares. He says last week they hit seven cars at Christ Prince of Peace Church on Weidman Road, and one vehicle at the Dog Museum on Mason Road.
