CBS Miami reports that reaction among education leaders teachers in the Miami area was mixed.

DeSantis wants to work with the Florida Department of Education, in addition to Florida's teachers and parents about their Common Core experiences. He's calling on Florida's Commissioner of Education to "comprehensively review" academic standards and provide recommended revisions to the Governor's office by January 1, 2020.
