It's not one of the most heated rivalries in baseball for nothing.

The latest debate between St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs fans is not about batting averages, head-to-head records, or number of World Series Championships. It's about the baby name that Cardinals right fielder Dexter Folwer and his wife, Aliya Fowler, chose. The couple announced in December that they were expecting the birth of their second daughter in July.

Aliya Fowler announced on Twitter the name they settled on: Ivy Noor Fowler.

Cubs fans immediately believed the name to be a reference to the ivy that grows on the outfield wall of Wrigley Field:

But Aliya Fowler quickly put those rumors to rest:

As some Cubs fans believe her "PSA" was just a ruse to calm the nerves of Cardinals fans, one fan asked if she had considered naming her Fredbird?

The Cardinals just completed a sweep of the Cubs over the weekend, partially thanks to a Dexter Fowler's walk-off homer.

Ivy may be the topic of a Cards/Cubs debate for a long time to come. But in all seriousness, congrats to Dexter and Aliya!
