Funeral arrangements announced for Officer Michael Langsdorf

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Officer Michael Langsdorf of the North County Police Cooperative, who was fatally shot Sunday afternoon while responding to a call in Wellston.

The following services are open to the public:

Visitation:
12 - 6 p.m. Sunday, June 30
Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa St., St. Louis, MO 63109 

Funeral service:
10 a.m. Monday, July 1 
Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108

Interment: (immediately following funeral service)
Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Road, St. Louis, MO 63123

BackStoppers is assisting Langsdorf's family. According to the organization, when an officer dies, the family receives a $10,000 check to be used however needed.
