Missouri State Police say one person is dead after two semi-trucks collided on I-64/40 Tuesday morning.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. on eastbound I-64/40 past Boones Crossing. Cars are being diverted onto Chesterfield Airport Rd.

Fire crews were at the scene due to one of the trucks catching fire. MoDOT Gateway Guide video shows them using ladders to spray down on one of the burning trucks.

Clean-up continues at the site.
