Kennedy Holmes Finishes 4th in "The Voice"

Holmes was the first St. Louis-area native to make it this far on the show

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KMOX) — 14-year-old Kennedy Holmes finished fourth in this year's "The Voice" competition.

The final outcome was determined by public vote. ​The Florissant native gave thanks to the fans that helped her get this far.

She was the first St. Louis-area native to make it to the finals of "The Voice".

Country singer Chevel Shepherd ended up winning the competition. Chris Kroeze was 2nd, and Kirk Jay finished 3rd.
