Major Case Squad Release Pictures of Suspected Killer's Vehicle
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There's new information this morning as investigators continue looking for the killer of a former East St. Louis High School track star.
Last night Major Case Squad investigators released pictures of what they're calling a suspect vehicle. The silver Pontiac with an Illinois temp tag was seen leaving the area near the County Line Quick Shop on Camp Jackson Road, moments after 21-year-old Roosevelt Davis was shot just before one Saturday afternoon.
In addition to the temp tag, the car may have a dent on the front passenger door.
Officers thought they had the suspect yesterday morning, but after a pursuing a vehicle from Sauget to I-70 and West Florissant in St. Louis, they determined the driver was not Davis' killer.
