ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) - A south St. Louis County man is kidnapped from his home, forced to take money out of an ATM, then dropped back off at his home, where he died of his injuries.

The vitctim is identified as 51-year-old Jeffrey Breitenfeld. He lived in the 600 block of Bayless.

The prosecutor says on March 3, a man and woman broke into his home. The woman knew Breitenfeld; the man did not.

The man is accused of beating Breitenfeld with a golf club and stabbing him. Then, after Breitenfeld went with them to take money out of the ATM, the prosecutor says they dropped him off at his home, where he died of his injuries -- only to be found two days later by a relative.

Charged with murder is 27-year-old Sherman Kinchen. His alleged accomplice, 24-year old Kimberly Cartwright, is charged with burglary, kidnapping and robbery.
