O'FALLON, Mo. (KMOX) - A south-central Missouri man has been charged with a bizarre attack in an O'Fallon business last Friday morning.

Police say that at about 7:30 a.m., 39-year-old Vincent Sansone, of Laquey, stabbed a man with a pair of scissors for no apparent reason.

They say the victim did not know Sansone, and the assault was unprovoked. It happened in the 100 block of Progress Point Court.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sansone is charged with second-degree assault and armed criminal action. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
