ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Missouri Court of Appeals has rejected a request by Stan Kroenke and the Rams to allow arbitration to resolve its part of the lawsuit St. Louis filed against the NFL when the Rams left for Los Angeles.

The suit accuses Kroenke of breach of contract and negotiating in bad faith when he left St. Louis to spend considerable time and money planning a new riverfront stadium, only to leave anyway.

The court's decision means that instead of negotiating a solution, Kroenke must now get ready for discovery. He'll have to turnover the entire paper trail on the team leaving to lawyers for his accusers.

Kroenke will also have to get ready for trial in St. Louis, a town where many were upset with the team leaving.

Kroenke still has the option to appeal the ruling to the Missouri Supreme Court.
