Warning to anyone who accepts a video game challenge from Michael Porter Jr. – he will beat you, take your money and will publicly humilate you.

That's what happened to three random Denver Nuggets fans on Tuesday night after the recent first-round draft pick tweeted out a challenge to fans who wanted to come over and play him in NBA 2K.

Apparently, MPJ was practicing a lot while he was injured during his freshman season at Mizzou.

He tweeted video after beating three "victims" and winning $300 and a pair of $800 UNC White Jordan 1s.

SB Nation spoke to the young man who lost his shoes:

"He said he kinda felt bad about taking (the shoes) but I said it was worth it just to hang out with him ... When asked if it was worth it, Gomez says “I haven’t really decided yet, but I think eventually I’ll see this as a positive."
