ST. CHARLES (KMOX) -- The man accused of killing young Angie Housman could be in the St. Charles County jail by Friday.

Earl W. Cox was charged earlier this month in the 1993 kidnapping, rape and murder of the nine-year-old girl from St. Ann.

Sheriff's deputies are scheduled to pick up Cox Thursday from a federal facility in North Carolina.  Once here, he'll be booked and held in the county jail on a $500,000 cash only bond.

A DNA breakthrough led to the arrest, and the prosecutor believes more than one person was involved in the crime.

Investigators are eager to talk with Cox to see if he will name names.
