ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Imagine a guy with a combination of pitches that includes Jordan Hicks 105 mph fastball, Adam Wainwright's 12-6 curve and Bob Gibson's wipeout slider? We asked some St. Louis Cardinals pitchers to build the perfect pitcher, using only the "stuff" from current and former Cardinals.

Here's what we got:

Daniel Ponce de Leon – "Bob Gibson everything." But then added an Adam Wainwright curveball and the body-type of Jack Flaherty.

Tyler Webb – Going with a very democratic approach, he also picked Wainwright's curveball, Carpenter's mound presence, Gibson's slider and Dakota Hudson's fastball/sinker.

John Gant – He decided to go only current Cardinals to "praise our teammates," and picked Jordan Hicks' fastball, Wainwright's curve, Flaherty's slider, his own changeup, Ryan Helsley's cutter and then back to Flaherty for his mound presence.

We'll have plenty more of these "build a pitcher" combinations coming throughout the summer. Stay tuned.
