Member of the Cardinals organization tests positive for COVID as players are returning to Busch Stadium

It's not confirmed if that positive test is from a player or coach.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Cardinals have confirmed a positive test for the coronavirus. The person's identity is not being released, and it's not known if it's a player or staff member.

The Cardinals have begun entry screening players for their Summer Camp that starts on July 3, before the 2020 regular season begins for them on either July 23 or 24.

No Cardinals player has told the team they intend to sit out of the 2020 season, though some players on other teams have.

Mike Leake of the Arizona Diamondbacks and veteran infielder Ryan Zimmerman and pitcher Joe Ross from the reigning World Series champion Washington Nationals say they're sitting out.
