ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — There's a new clear bag policy at all Enterprise Center events, including St. Louis Blues games.

The clear bag policy goes into effect at the John Mayer concert on Sept. 3, when the building re-opens after the third phase of renovations.

Fans choosing to bring a bag to the arena will be able to bring in the following:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Wallets, small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap and does not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”.
  • Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.

What won't be allowed? Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, mesh bags, and binocular and camera cases. You'll be asked to return those items to your vehicle prior to entry.

To speed up gate access, fans will no longer be required to empty their pockets prior to passing through metal detectors due to upgrades in technology. The facility will also deploy X-Ray machines at key locations throughout the venue.

For fans interested in purchasing bags, St. Louis Blues branded clear bags will be available starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3 in the STL Authentics Team Store, and DICK'S has a number of options, ranging in price from $10 - $13.
