ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The International Institute's 2019 "Festival of Nations" is taking place this weekend at Tower Grove Park.

Organizers are hoping the regional celebration of ethnic diversity brings in more than 125,000 visitors to the park.

One vendor from the People's Republic of the Congo told KMOX's Debbie Monterrey it's a highlight of his year, "Being here at the festival is really good. We have good times here, good vibes. We really love it."

A woman named Donna from Liberty, Mo. checked out the festival for the first time on Saturday, "We wanted to experience all the cultures and ethnic foods. I'm loving it. It's beautiful. There's so much to see and so much to do."

There's free admission, and more than 40 stands where you can buy food from different cultures. There's also an international bazaar and stage entertainment.
