The Oakwood Schnucks in Alton will be closed until further notice so employees there can help at other stores. The company is encouraging people who normally shop there to go to the other store in Alton on Homer Adams Parkway, or Godfrey on Godfrey Road.

Most courtesy centers will remain closed so those employees can work check out aisles and otherwise help customers move more quickly through the store.

All stores, including the ones mentioned, will reserve the first hour of the day for people 60 or older.
