ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Road crews are scheduled to start work today that will pave the way for a new soccer stadium in downtown St. Louis.
To make room for the new MLS stadium, MODOT plans to close five ramps along Interstate 64: at North 20th, Market and Pine.

Transportation officials have said the exits, which date back to 50's and 60's, are in sore need of an upgrade.
The plan is to provide better access to Jefferson with a full interchange between 21st and Jefferson... and ramps at 22nd street and Jefferson that connect.
