"Right now, I still don't think they have enough in their lineup to win it all. And I think that's the goal, not just winning the division."

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - If the Cardinals are going to be a serious contender for the World Series - not just the postseason - they're going to have to add another offensive piece to their lineup.

That's according to Joe Buck, who appeared on KMOX's "Sports on a Sunday Morning" before calling the Packers-Seahawks divisional playoff game for FOX in Green Bay, Wisc.

"Because right now, I still don't think they have enough in their lineup to win it all," Buck said. "And I think that's the goal, not just winning the division."

Buck took a moment to endorse the Rockies' Nolan Arenado, the player everyone has been buzzing about since multiple reports linked the Cardinals to the All-Star third baseman.

"I think he's top 3-4 players in the league," Buck said of Arenado. "He's a genius at third base. He's a tremendous hitter. And above all that, he is a great guy. He's one of the best guys I've met in the game in 20 years. And I think St. Louis would just eat him up."
