ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-A federal judge has rejected the House of Pain's argument that the extended St. Louis County stay at home order was unconstitional and has ordered the gym to close its two locations.

District Judge Ronnie White ruled that the county executive has the power to issue stay at home orders that exceed the state's and had valid reasons for treating gyms differently than other businesses.

In the ruling, he said the House of Pain locations in Maryland Heights and Chesterfield were endangering public health and putting their members at risk.

He has ordered the two locations to close for 14 days.  He'll then decide if the closure should last longer.
