ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Teenager from Ladue, Mo., Tarek Husseini is a finalist on the Food Network's show Kids Baking Championship.

This is the show's seventh season and has included a variety of difficult baking challenges that most couldn't perform, let alone kids between the ages of 10 to 13-years-old.

However, Husseini has made it look like a piece of cake.

“I memorized a lot of base recipes. I don’t know how many!” Husseini told St. Louis Magazine.

Husseini has been keeping his fans updated through regular posts on his Instagram and has even redone a few of the challenges to demonstrate his talent under less pressure and with more resources.

I MADE IT TO THE FINALE!!! I also remade my pies from the newest episode!! They are blueberries pies with a cinnamon crust- Decorated like the night sky!!! I also remade my ice cream, this time was just vanilla, and it was super creamy and delicious -- @foodnetwork #kidsbakingchampionship #geometricpies #pies #blueberry

The finale airs at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in which Husseini will bake confections with an “Out of This World Cakes” theme and compete for the $25,000 grand prize.

Tune in to see if this baking wiz-kid will take home all of that dough, or if he'll fall short(bread).
