POLICE: Man wanted for armed robbery of South County Goodwill

The suspect, described as a black male possibly in his 40s, demanded cash then stole one victim's vehicle.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police are searching for the man who broke into a Goodwill in South County, gun in hand, and demanded cash from multiple people inside the store. 

It happened around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Goodwill, located near Lindbergh Boulevard and Baptist Church Road

Police released a photo of the suspect described as a black man, possibly in his 40s, who stole a blue/gray 2014 Toyota Yaris with 4 doors and a Missouri license plate after the robbery. The man demanded the vehicle of one of the victims present in the store and was last seen turning eastbound onto S. Lindbergh Boulevard. 

There were five adults, three are females and two males, in the Goodwill at the time of the robbery - they were not physically hurt.

The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is leading the investigation.
