ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- There's another large geospatial company planning to plant roots downtown.

Maxar Technologies, based in Colorado, crunches satellite imagery data and builds robotics. They just renewed their contract with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

At the Geospatial Gateway Forum in St. Louis yesterday, first reported by the Post-Dispatch, Maxar announced it would open an office in the Globe building on Tucker downtown. The plan is to reach about 50 workers.

The Globe is also where we told you a Swedish company is expanding its U.S. headquarters.
