ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- No one was injured but St. Louis Firefighters were busy after an apparent explosion sparked a two alarm fire in the Ville early Sunday afternoon.

It happened in the 4300 block of Cottage -- the apartment building was occupied but no one was injured. It eventually escalated to a two alarm because of that, Capt. Garon Mosby on Twitter explained that was necessary to get more equipment on the scene.

The fire was contained to one unit and quickly put out. Bomb and arson investigators are looking into it.
