ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Police need your help finding a giraffe. Should be simple, right?
A 16-foot tall giraffe statue was stolen from Civil Life Brewing and Jake's Dinosaur Park in south St. Louis this week.

Surveillance video captured a box truck driving with giraffe's neck and head hanging out the back. That video can be seen at the top of this page.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Civil Life Brewing Co. owner Jake Hafner said "There have been a few hopeful developments but our Giraffe is still not home.--. We must keep the pressure on by getting the word out. Every day that passes makes it harder to get it back safely. I will not rest until the culprits have been caught! If I give up, no metal sculpture animal in this city will ever be safe again!!!!"
Hafner has set a $1,000 reward for the return of "Peaches" and a matching $1,000 donation will be made to Northside Community Housing to help Save Sara-Lou Cafe.

If you have seen the giraffe, contact police.
