ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - No one looked nervous. No one played "Gloria." No one kissed the Stanley Cup.

Just like last year's motto of turning the page from one game to the next, the St. Louis Blues say they have moved on from last year's success and are looking to become the repeat Stanley Cup Champions.

The Blues made their first on-ice moves of the 2019-20 NHL season with Day 1 of training camp at the new Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights Friday. In the video above are highlights of what we heard from a number of Blues players, head coach Craige Berube and president of hockey operations Doug Armstrong.

Possibly the best comment of the day came from captain Alex Pietrangelo when he was asked about where his nickname for his "best friend" and former Blues teammate David Backes came from. During the Stanley Cup Final against Boston a microphone picked up Petro calling Backes a "Buffalo Head" and the video went viral.
