St. Louis Wheel, Aquarium at Union Station to reopen next week

Some of the hands-on exhibits at the aquarium will be prohibited.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Two of St. Louis' newest attractions – St. Louis Wheel and St. Louis Aquarium – will reopen on June 8. 

There will be some new guidelines for guests, including advance reservations required, cash will not be accepted at any attraction, gift shop or restaurant and anyone 9 years of age and up are required to wear face masks unless they have a pre-existing health condition. Guests will also be allowed to remove or lower their masks when practicing good social distancing of 6 feet or more when eating or drinking.

Reservations can be rescheduled if needed. 

Fish ID touchscreens, Scavenger Hunt touchscreens, the Train Experience and the Virtual Reality sandbox that are inside the aquarium are not going to be available.

Staff plans to step up sanitization at the St. Louis Wheel and surrounding attractions that will also reopen: Mirror Maze,  Ropes Course, Mini Golf at Union Station and The Carousel at Union Station. 

Also planning to reopen this month are the Saint Louis Zoo and St. Louis Science Center.
