ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX)-Two babies, a teenager and two young adults were killed Saturday, when their vehicle collided with a cargo van in north St. Louis County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the Toyota Rav-4 driven by 22-year-old Travon Nelson of Florissant, went off the right side of southbound Lucas-Hunt north of West Florissant. Nelson overcorrected sending the vehicle into the northbound lanes where it crossed the path of the van. The van hit the rear of the Toyota, causing it to overturn.

Nelson and a 16-year-old from Florissant were killed along with 22-year-old Kristy Monroe, a one-year-old boy and an infant girl all from Mexico, Missouri.

The van's driver, a St. Louis man, was seriously hurt.
