BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOX) - Police in Ballwin believe they have the man who was caught on video driving over a sidewalk and someone's front yard to get past a stopped school bus.
52-year-old Matthew McCloskey was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Police say he admitted to driving the vehicle at the time, but blamed his alleged bold act on a mechanical failure.

The incident happened Wednesday morning near Henry Elementary School on Bitterfield Drive, according to the district's Facebook page.

McCloskey has been released from custody. Formal charges are pending with the Ballwin Municipal Prosecutor's Office.
