BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOX) — A serial liquor thief has been arrested and police have a good accounting of what he's been stealing and how much it's worth.

Ballwin police say, when they saw him walking along Manchester last Wednesday, "his backpack was full of alcohol clanging down the sidewalk".

They also found his journal, with details of what he stole, when he took it, and its value.

For example: in the 11 days before Christmas the thief claims to have stolen over $1,600 in Grey Goose Vodka, Jack Daniels, Jose Cuervo tequila and Tanqueray.

On their Facebook page, Ballwin Police filled out the entry for February 6th:
