The Kaufman Fund

The Kaufman Fund has been serving St Louis veterans since 1990 with the mission to support veterans and children in the St. Louis region who are at risk of abuse or poverty, needing food, shelter, clothing, medical care and basic needs. Over the past 30 years, The Kaufman Fund have raised and distributed over $1,500,000 to help local veterans and children.  In fact, The Kaufman Fund brings the entire St Louis Veteran community together to help those in need.  There are NO paid employees at TKF.  All funds raised by The Kaufman Fund stay in the St. Louis region.

In addition to the over 20 local charities we support, in the past three years The Kaufman Fund has worked with the community to create Dental and Legal programs to help Veterans in need of these services. And this year The Kaufman Fund has created a collaborative with the Veterans Administration and five mental health service organizations in the St Louis area to provide help to Veterans of all ages by improving access to clinical services and mental health needs for Veterans and their families.  We recognize how critical of a need this is in the Veteran community with 20 suicides a day and over 40,000 are homeless in any given night.
